WISE organised a protest demonstration against price-hike, in front of Lahore Press Club. Participants raised slogans against the govt. and IMF for their predatory policies, crushing the poor people. They voiced that price of flour, electricity, gas and petrol has reached a record high, adversely affecting the lives, livelihoods and overall well-being of poor people, whose purchasing power and living standards has declined to unprecedented level.
