In connection with 16 Days of Activism, yesterday organized a seminar on “Let’s Unite to Stop Gender Based Violence” in collaboration with University of Home Economics, Lahore. Around 300 Young girls/students and faculty members joined the event and pledged to stop violence against women and girls.

 Among speakers Ms. Rizwana Urooj Bhatti, Additional Secretary Women Development Department, Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali, Ombudsperson Punjab, Ms. Rafia Kamal Chairperson Punjab Women Protection Authority, Professor Kanwal Ameen Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Erum Rubab, Head of Students Affairs and Gender Studies Department, Dr. Ambreen Salahuddin Assistant Professor of Gender Studies Department, Punjab University and Bushra Khaliq Executive Director WISE, graced the occasions
