‘Voicing for Dignified Workplace’ a Seminar on National Working Women's Day

A public seminar titled “Voicing for Dignified Workplace” marked the National Working Women’s Day at the Punjab Institute of Language Arts and Culture (PILAC) in Lahore. The event drew a significant gathering of diverse working women, including police officers, domestic workers, lady health workers, home-based professionals, and civil society activists.

 

The seminar featured honored speakers such as Women Ombudsperson Nabeela Hakim Ali Khan, Dr. Fouzia Saeed, Executive Director Mehargarh Maliha Husain, Trade Union leader Rubina Jameel, Aima Mahmood from the governing body of PESSI, Muhammad Shahid, Deputy Director of the Labour and Human Resource Department, and Bushra Khaliq, Executive Director of WISE.

 

This activity took place under the Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan project. This project is funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.
