In connection with International Women Day 2024, WISE organized a public seminar in collaboration with Office of the ombudsperson, Punjab, at Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) Lahore. The event drew representatives from government institutions, academia, civil society and large number of women/girls including; teachers, students, lawyers, police women, domestic workers and home-based workers.

Among main speakers were; Ombudsperson Punjab, Ms. Nabeela Hakim, Executive Director WISE Bushra Khaliq, Dr. Irum Rubab, Dean Gender Studies Department, University of Home Economics, Ms. Misba, Registrar Office of the Ombudsperson Punjab and Sam Dada, advisor to the Ministry of Human Rights on gender inclusivity and women empowerment.
