Organized an event to acknowledge the services of our women community leaders’, in connection with International Women’s Day. Appreciation Awards were presented to women leaders for their outstanding services in their respective communities. WISE admires these leaders as they mobilise women for their rights and deal with a range of local issues like; domestic violence, municipal issues and building safe neighbourhoods. Thanks to Ms. Tanveer Jehan and Ms. Rabbiya Bajwa for their presence to encourage women.
The activity was organized under the project ‘Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan’ funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.
