On April 23, 2026, in collaboration with Peace & Justice Network (PJN), yesterday, WISE organised a Digital Security Fellowship Training Workshop – “Safeguarding Digital Civic Space in Pakistan” for Human Rights Defenders, with the active participation of 34 individuals. Participants represented diverse backgrounds, including minority groups, differently-abled persons, transgenders, as well as representatives of various NGOs and trade unions, making the learning space inclusive and representative.
The training covered key areas such as understanding digital civic space, the role of HRDs, digital threats, personal security planning, safe internet use, data protection, legal awarenessWISE and organisational security practices. The sessions were highly interactive and equipped participants with practical knowledge and tools to strengthen their digital safety and resilience.
