On 28 April 2026, WISE organized a day-long training workshop on “Strengthening Digital Safety, Data Protection & Effective Use of Government Portals for Better Community Services” in Lahore. The workshop brought together 28 women community leaders and focal persons from Lahore and Sheikhupura to enhance their understanding of digital security, online safety, data protection, and the effective use of government portals for improved community services.
Participants actively engaged in discussions and practical exercises on identifying digital threats, protecting personal and community data, recognizing suspicious online activities, and safely using mobile applications and online platforms.
Numan and Mahnoor Tariq shared valuable knowledge and practical guidance during the sessions. The workshop concluded with remarks by Bushra Khaliq, reaffirming WISE’s commitment to empowering women and communities through digital literacy, safe online engagement, and strengthened access to community services.
