Under the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign, Women in Struggle for Empowerment (WISE) organized a seminar on December 03, 2025, at Government Graduate College (W), Vandala Diyal Shah, Ferozwala, District Sheikhupura. The session focused on ending digital violence against women and girls and promoting safe and responsible online engagement.
The seminar was presided over by Principal Ms. Asma Waheed as Chief Guest, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to play an active role in advocating for ethical and secure digital practices. A large number of students and faculty members participated actively in the discussion.
Ms. Aqsa Fayaz from the Women Virtual Police Station, Punjab Safe Cities Authority, highlighted the growing challenges of online harassment and shared practical guidance on reporting digital crimes and accessing available support mechanisms.
Ms. Bushra Khaliq, Executive Director WISE, emphasized the importance of digital safety awareness, education, and collective responsibility in creating safer online spaces for women and girls. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion and a shared commitment to challenge and prevent digital violence in all its forms.
