WISE organized community-based sessions on “The Acid Control and Acid Crime Prevention Act, 2011” and “Criminal Law (Amendment) Offences in the Name or Pretext of Honor Act, 2016” across three districts—Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Nankana—during the month of June 2024. These sessions aimed to educate communities on the provisions of these critical laws to prevent acid crimes and honor-related offenses. Participants engaged actively, gaining valuable insights into their rights and legal protections. WISE remains committed to fostering awareness, empowering individuals, and advocating for a safer and more just society.
