WISE organised a public seminar on 30 th April in connection with May Day in Faisalabad. A large number of women domestic workers joined the event. The leaders of Lailpur Domestic Workers Union and Parkhash Domestic Workers Union spoke on the occasion including Perveen Latif Ansari, Shabana Pervaiz Bhatti, Yasmin Tahira, Naziran Bibi, Latif Ansari, Zarina Irshad, Shazia Saeed and Amina Afzal demanded of the Punjab govt. to implement the Domestic Workers Act 2019 in letter and spirit. Followed by the seminar, a public rally was taken out to amplify the cause of domestic workers.
