WISE organized a panel discussion at the International Conference on “Democracy, Governance & Sustainability” held at the University of the Punjab. This event was a collaborative effort with the Department of Political Science and the Institute for Educating Environment Resilience and Governance. The distinguished panelists included Salman Abid, an expert in local governance; Dr. Irum Rubab, Head of the Gender Studies Department at the University of Home Economics; Abdul Khaliq, a social researcher; Rani Shamim, a grassroots activist and WISE member; and Dr. Irum Khalid, Head of the Department of Political Science. The event witnessed active participation from both students and faculty members, who engaged enthusiastically in the discussions.
