Team WISE joined the peace rally organised on May 06, 2025 by the Joint Action Committee – Punjab, in Lahore. The rally was attended by citizens from cross sections representing human rights defenders, human rights/women-rights organisations, NGOs, trade-union workers, journalists, lawyers, artists, students, peace-workers and political leaders. The participants raised their voices against the hate mongering and war hysteria dominating our collective thinking and social ethos.

The rally was addressed by Hina Jilani, Council Member of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), Bushra Khaliq, Executive Director (WISE), Imtiaz Alam (SAFMA), Farooq Tariq (PKRC), Kashif Aslam, Minority rights worker and Irfan Mufti, Convener Joint Action Committee (JAC).
