Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) project aims to empower vulnerable communities by raising awareness of safeguarding measures and building accessible reporting mechanisms.  The project emphasizes direct outreach through 40 targeted awareness sessions that will engage 680 women and young girls on PSEA, including prevention, reporting, and the Complaint and Feedback Mechanism (CFM). In these sessions, participants will learn about safeguarding procedures and how to report incidents. WISE will also train 40 women community leaders on CFM and referral pathways, equipping them with resources and manuals to serve as local PSEA advocates. Additionally, tailored PSEA communication materials, such as flyers, brochures will be distributed to reinforce safeguarding messages across communities.

WISE has also plan to enhance its internal safeguarding framework by updating its policies, staff code of conduct, and guidelines, ensuring that staff, volunteers, and focal persons are aligned with best practices. To sustain the impact, refresher sessions will be conducted through Women’s Reflect Centers post-project, keeping the community engaged and informed on safeguarding issues. Through active participation in national and regional safeguarding networks, WISE will also share best practices and resources developed throughout the project, contributing to broader PSEA efforts across Pakistan.
