On 23 February 2025, Team WISE joined the Ravi Bachao March, organized in connection with International Day of Rivers.  The Ravi Bachao Tehreek (Save Ravi Movement) is advocating for the protection and revival of the River Ravi, which is facing severe pollution and degradation. The march was aimed at raising its voice to protect the Ravi River from pollution and unchecked urban expansion. The rally emphasized the urgent need to stop wastewater dumping into the river, halt destructive housing schemes on its land, and review the Indus Water Treaty to safeguard our water resources. Ravi is not just a river, it is a lifeline for countless communities, and its preservation is our shared responsibility. Let’s unite to protect our natural heritage and ensure a cleaner, greener future.
