On November 15, 2025, Women in Struggle for Empowerment (WISE), in partnership with the Nasreen Dad Foundation, organized a comprehensive medical relief camp in the flood-affected village of Nathu Shah, District Jhang, Punjab, Pakistan. Responding to urgent post-flood health and protection needs, a dedicated team of 15 doctors, nurses, paramedics, support staff, and volunteers delivered quality medical services to more than 450 women, men, and children. The camp provided general health check-ups, consultations, basic medicines, and referrals, with particular attention to women’s and children’s health concerns that often remain underserved during emergencies.
Alongside medical care, the initiative addressed immediate winterization needs by distributing warm clothing to 210 children and 200 shawls to mothers, helping families cope with dropping temperatures after displacement and loss of livelihoods. This joint effort not only eased physical suffering but also restored dignity and reassurance to affected communities during a difficult recovery phase.
