WISE conducted back-to-back two Capacity Strengthening Training Workshops on Safeguarding: “Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment (PSEAH)”, engaging 47 women community focal persons from Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib from February 25-28, 2025. The workshops aimed to enhance community-based safeguarding efforts, equipping local women leaders to prevent, raise awareness, and respond to SEAH cases effectively.
Through interactive discussions, case studies, and role-playing activities, the participants gained in-depth knowledge of PSEAH, legal protections, reporting mechanisms, and survivor-centered approaches. They were trained on Complaint and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) and referral pathways, enabling them to act as PSEA advocates within their communities.
These trained leaders will now replicate their learning, reaching around 700 women and young girls with awareness sessions on SEAH prevention, reporting mechanisms, and safeguarding procedures in their respective areas. By strengthening community outreach, WISE is committed to foster a culture of safety, dignity, and protection, ensuring survivors receive support and access to justice.
