WISE organized a day-long training workshop on “Empowering Domestic Workers through Skill Development.” A total 21 women domestic workers and focal persons of our Community Groups participated. Muhammad Shahid, Secretary of the Minimum Wages Board Punjab and Director of the Labor and Human Resource Department Punjab, served as the resource person. He highlighted key aspects of the Punjab Occupational Safety and Health Act 2019, educating the participants about essential workplace safety measures. Additionally, he explored various skill development opportunities available to women domestic workers, encouraging them to enhance their professional capabilities.

In the second session, Daniel Shah, a professional photographer and videographer, introduced the group to phone camera techniques, equipping them with digital photography skills crucial in today’s social media-driven world.
